The 5 stages of Design Consultation & Implementation
Initial Meeting - The Initial meeting is held with the client to understand their requirements and vision of the space. A site survey is conducted where we take measurements and photographs to document our report.
Initial Proposal – A study of the space is conducted and after extensive research into the given requirement the Initial Proposal is created. Space planning is a crucial step, we will discuss solutions and address problems while presenting the furniture layout. The concept for the space is discussed in-depth and how we are going to apply it to the given space is observed. This is where the client will assess whether our vision for the space is in line with their expectations. Our design fee along with details of the services we offer is also presented at this stage.
Design & Details- Once the contract is signed we begin the process of giving shape to our concept. Scale, proportion, color & light are some of the factors we consider while creating all the detailed drawings required to implement the concept.
Specifications- Color combinations, materials, furniture & fixtures are specified at this stage.
Implementation – We offer project management services at an additional fee. Here we oversee the execution of the design from creating bill of quantities, examining quotations to finalizing the contractors, order processing, preparing time lines, managing the funds and authorizing the payments. We prepare snag lists before the final handover as we believe attention to detail is crucial to the success of any project.
